Rhipsalis (Mistletoe cactus) is a fancy, aerophyte cactus with long thread-like green pendant stems, up to 0.5 cm in diameter and can reach up to 9 m in length. Areoles are bristly when young, but otherwise, the stems are very smooth. The little greenish-white blooms emerge in late winter or spring. As with most house plants, take care not to overwater as they are a type of cactus so overwatering can cause rot.
