Terracotta is made from natural earth instead of synthetic or petroleum-based materials. This means they are good for your plants, good for your health and good for the surrounding environment. Clay mimics the plant’s natural habitat and, with their breathable yet sturdy walls, they help aerate the roots while providing insulation from any sudden temperature shifts. As it ages, the clay also develops characteristics that are beautiful and unique depending on the elements it has been exposed to.
